Chilterns Dog Rescue £50,000 build project

Chilterns Dog Rescue £50,000 build project , Support Adoption For Pets

Since 1963, over 18,000 dogs have been homed from Chilterns Dog Rescue Society. Not only does the Society care for and find homes for lost and abandoned dogs, owners circumstances sometimes change and this can result in dogs coming into their care.

"We are Chilterns Dog Rescue Society. In 2014 we applied for one of the Support Adoption For Pets' celebration grants to help fund our Enhanced Care Unit, vet room and socialisation area which all form part of a complete redevelopment of our kennel facilities.

We completed an online application and submitted a five minute video of our work at the Rescue Centre. The application process was clear and user friendly. The team at SAFP were extremely helpful and always quick to respond with any questions we had.

In July we were delighted to hear we had been awarded one of the celebration grants for £50,000. Work commenced on the project in October 2014 and we are hoping phase one works will be completed before the end of the year.

We are extremely grateful to the team at SAFP for their continued support"
