JLP Trust Animal Rescue, Support Adoption For Pets

Established in 2014, the JLP Trust Animal Rescue based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, finds new homes for dogs, cats and other animals who need to be rehomed for any reason, including those at risk of neglect or in council pounds.

"We applied for a grant from Support Adoption for Pets to assist with our ever high vets bills as we have taken in a number of dogs requiring significant treatment including Khaya, Blaze and Jada who all arrived with us needing operations to remove their cancerous tumours, Skip who came to us with a shattered leg which needed specialist operations to rebuild it and then hydrotherapy to ensure he regained use of it and Tyson who’s ongoing heart condition at the age of 12 means he is on long term foster and we cover his vets bills.

This grant will help us to ensure that we can continue to pay for the medical treatment of the dogs in our care and ensure that we help as many animals as possible in South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and the local area. We have been granted our charity status in 2016 and are actively recruiting more foster homes to enable us to save even more lives and help more cats and dogs find safe, loving homes for the rest of their lives. Thank you so much for supporting our work and helping us to help those who do not have a voice! We are overwhelmed by the support you have shown us and will make sure every penny of the funds goes on helping those who need us most. Thank you."
