North Clwyd Animal Rescue, Support Adoption For Pets

North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) is a registered charity founded in 1978 by Anne Owen. From one thin little Lurcher, we now care for over 1800 domestic pets a year. We have grown to meet these new demands,

"In 2014 North Clwyd Animal Rescue applied for funding for our Veterinary Clinic Project - to transform old sheds into a new onsite clinic for our rescue.

Applying to Support Adoption For Pets for one of their celebration grants was a fun yet terrifying process - but it was a great way to apply for a grant.

The video side of the process was an exciting way to get all our supporters involved and made them feel part of the project.

Working with the Support Adoption For Pets team was a pleasure as always, they are a great team to work with and it was a joy for the whole process!

The grant was awarded to us 15th July 2014 - I will never forget the day when Emily & Lynn were standing in reception with a huge cheque and big smiles! Best day of my working life so far! The project is now complete and we opened our veterinary doors on 1st April 2015 and never looked back! It was such a proud day and we will be forever thankful to Support Adoption For Pets!

It's been an amazing year, full of amazing people who have helped us along the way. We are so proud that our dreams have come true and we are just so thankful to each and everyone that helped us make it all possible.

It has made such a big difference to our charity and we can wait to continue to grow and make our charity even better and this would not have been possible with Support Adoption For Pets! Thank you for believing in us!"
